Loch, Ziz-zar, and the red Tantar ran Through the rubble with Loch in the lead. They went along as quietly as possible. They where almost to Loch, and Ziz's safe house, a normal looking building with just enough damage to not be noticeable in the rubble, but still structurally intact. Suddenly a high pitched screech, sounding like an eagle mixed with scraping metal, sounded from above them. All three looked up and saw, in the sky about 20 feet behind them, one of the same creatures from before, only this one had two extra appendages jutting out of its back that resembled bat like wings without the webbing.

"We got a Screech!" Ziz shouted, trying to sound brave, but his doubt was slightly present in his voice.

"I got it!" loch yelled and ran toward the creature, holding his sword with both hands, ready to attack. He jumped into the air a few feet from the monster and was about to strike when the beast roared again, shooting a blast of black, green, and purple energy from its mouth. The Beam of energy hit Loch square in the chest and sent him hurdling into the side of a building about 10 feet away.

Ziz-zar's expression suddenly became very serious as he turned to the girl and pointed to the safe house then yelled in Tantar," Sewga-thal KAYA!!!" meaning something like GO RUN QUICKLY!. She nodded and ran toward the building. Ziz turned back toward the beast and holding his palm out toward the beast yelled, "ZIZ" and fired a blast of electricity strait toward the center of the creature. But just before it his the Monster veered slightly to the side in an attempt to doge and was hit on the edge of its body.
A leg, arm, and wing shattered and vaporizer while the rest  of the segments detached from each other and fell to the ground. "Oh No", Exclaimed his expression changing to one of fear and he quickly sprinted over  to loch who was just standing up.

He grabbed Lochs arm and helped him up the rest of the way, and said with much fear in his voice, "we got to get out of here now before..." but he was cut off by several small screeching sounds coming from all around them, as the fallen body segments of the large creature that had appeared vanquished suddenly began to grow appendages and began to resemble the first monster, only they where only about 2 feet tall. There where about ten of them and they began to form a circle around the Duo who now stood back to back.

"ZIZ-SAI" Ziz yelled and suddenly in an array of sparks a lightning bolt shaped yellow sword appeared in his hands. But this didn't even phase the creatures. "I... I'm sorry" Ziz squeaked, he wasnt even trying to hide his fear anymore.

"Don't be" Loch replied " it moved at the last second, it wasn't your fault at all" but his kindness did nothing to calm his friend who was now shaking with fear.

'I...I don't know if... if I can do this.... Loch if I don't make it I want you too"

"HEY don't talk like that", Loch interrupted "Don't doubt yourself, we'll make it through this fine, remember what I always say, Hope is the last thing lost, don't give up.... beside your the strongest Tantar I know, you have nothing to worry about."

The creatures where approaching faster, "you really mean that?"

They were only about 3 feet away now, "Of course, and remember, I always got your back..."

Suddenly all 10 of the dark creatures jumped at them at once and
